Mr. Franklin has spoiled us all. We have had freezing precipitation straight for the past 30 hours. The ice and snow doesn't mix well with trees, powerlines, cars! We lost power several times yesterday for a few short seconds...but lost it for good this a.m.around 3. There are close to 100,000 homes without power this morning at 6 the news reported 6800 homes...the number is climbing which is not good for getting things back up and running. We have a nice toasty fire and a small generator. We are pretty forunate to have both. The bad news is we have to head out soon to get gas to keep the generator going and no water :o( I am not too thrilled about Nick venturing out. I will post pics as soon as I can!
