Buggy Time.

Unfortunently this was a wasted weekend in my book. Well other than the fun kick off at my bro & sis in laws. Started off with some  classic Clueless and gabbing while Bri and Rea played and the guys headed to get japanese/chinese takeout. After grubbing we followed up with some Just Dance 4 and the The 5 Year Engagement. Somewhere along the way Briggsley started to get the runs & my belly started aching pretty bad. It was a mix of Braxton Hicks & some tummy issues. Needless to say it turned into a tummy bug situation in our house as the weekend progressed...with Nick being the last to get it...Not to mention so did my BIL/SIL/Niece. We missed  out on Sesame Street Live but somehow managed to watch my 1 year old niece Ry in the mix. We weren't feeling all that bad and had agreed to watch her and thought everything was fine. We are praying she won't get it since my sister & bil had it over Thanksgiving and she was fine...She was such an angel! It was the first time overnight away from mommy & daddy.

I have been Lysoling and bleaching the house like crazy. I am waiting for the hubster to get out of the funk before hardcore scrubbing since we are all contagious for up to 3 days. That means that we will miss B's first dance class with all her friends tomorrow. I am so sad. Also we had park plans on Tuesday that I am not sure we will get to or even to see Santa on Wednesday for that matter. She has been feeling fine and diarrhea free all day. So I will start counting her 3 days as down 1 today..it says once symptom free its 3 days...yesterday she only had 2 episodes...so I say today is safe...anyway and I was last night so I guess I count from then too. I just don't want to get others sick and have been doing a lot of research on it.

Luckily I found a little miracle a few years back called acidophilus...I am a firm believer in it. Everytime I feel the bug coming on or just feel off tummy wise I take one and I swear it cuts the severity. Like our family only threw up a handful of times where my in-laws were getting sick all night. And we gave it to them....I brought them over some and my SIL is now hooked.

Here's to this crap not spreading any more and us not getting it again!!
