Back At It...Again.

As a dear friend requested I am going to get back into blogging. I know I know...I say this every so often and I never follow through...but I have not just one reason but 2.

Baby A & Baby 2. Or as my Nick likes to call them, Thing 1 & Thing 2 hehehe. Let me rewind a bit! We were trying for baby #2. Let me correct that...it was our first month trying for another baby. I felt a little pressure to be honest because it was the only month we had to do the dance really to have another child before my sisters wedding...TMI? Get used to it. Anywhooo. Clearly we got the job done ;O) I had been feeling a little "off" and took several dollar store tests all were BFN and then I took one on 8.27, Nick's birthday and saw a super super faint one. I chalked it up to an evap line until the next morning I woke up swearing Nick made pizza rolls for breakfast...which of course he had not. I mean we haven't had those since our broke days in our early 20's (looks like we may be eating them again soon). So I got my happy but up dressed my daughter and headed to the glorius freezer aisle then to the aisle for a cheapie pregnancy test. Not that I needed to even take it. I knew at that point...but just to prove it.

I am pretty lame and sent Nick a pic text with the positive pee stick. He wasn't shocked at all but was so excited! Fast forward a few days...Hello nausea. Hello Sleep. Hello husband's broken Pinky. Hello surgery for pinky. Hello cold. Hello messy house. Hello television addicted 2 year old. Fast forward to today. Hello twins!!!!! We cannot be more excited. I have butterflies thinking about these two precious babies we are bringing into the world. Of course I am nervous but I think I am more prepared than I could ever be, already having been through it once. And hate to brag but people have mentioned that I have done a pretty good job a time or two. We told some friends and family and I CANNOT wait to share the news tomorrow with my Mom & Dan who are coming to visit! My mom is going to be shocked. I haven't even told her I am preggers yet.I haven't told my dad yet either, even though I want to so bad. I really want to wait until he comes to visit at the beginning of November. Not sure I can wait that long though. My next doctor appointment is Oct 24th where we will have another u/s of our sweet babies. Until then please keep us in your prayers! Oh yeah and for your viewing pleasure...here is my "before" at 7 weeks...thought I was 8 but the twins dated a week earlier
