Games.

It seems as though lately I am playing a game of catch up. From not finding enough time to spend with family & friends to not finding enough time to post here. Ugh I hate it. I really enjoy writing. I have not been so good at it here lately with pretty generic posts, and yup this will be continued in the same fashion.

Since I was sick a few weeks back and then with B getting sick, it seems like the Grant's cannot get out of our funk. I have been wanting to sleep all day and stay up all night, B has been wanting to get up before the rooster crows, and well the hubs he seems like he is always in a funk because of his shift. I haven't wanted to cook or clean or really do much of anything. I wouldn't say I am feeling depressed, at all really. I just feel BLAH. Do you ever have one of those days? Maybe it has been the weather. Man we have had way too many rainy days to count and just a few sunny days here or there, just enough for the sun to come out & say "nana nana boo boo!"

I suppose I shouldn't drag this post out like a game of Monopoly and get on with it...

Well before we landed in this funk we took B to the Zoo for the 1st time ;o) with my sister, my nephew's g/f Brooke, and their son Brayden. Briggsley didn't really pay much attention to anything accept for the fans in the gorilla habitat haha. Even still I am glad we got a membership for the year and am looking forward to watching her grow more and more interested throughout the year(s).

 B has really blossomed a lot in the past few weeks! She is now doing this nose wrinkle snif snif snif thing! It is hilarious!

                                                                                                                

GIMME THAT BINKIE

B's new favorite thing is to play when it is nap time. Thankfully she usually will fall asleep after her little play fest but this is what I find before her snoozing happens! She is somehow sitting up, turning her music on and off and playing with her little aquarium.

On another note. This kid is so close to crawling! I want to ball just watching her! It is such a great milestone but seriously came way too fast! She does this cute thing I call creeping or the toe crawl where she pushes up on her toes and scoots her belly! I am sure she isn't the only one out there or perhaps there is an official name for it who knows, I kind of gave up on that whole researching every single thing phase. Over the past day she has started bending her knees more while doing the toe push, she just needs to get those arms going. Any day now. Any day.

Here she is trying to sit up. She can almost do it! Daddy insists he has seen her but not me...unless she is getting some help whether it be from pushing her feet on something or grabbing onto something, including her best friends hair today!

 This is her mean look....it's so scary right ;o)

Mommy's jailbird. She now rolls onto her belly, plays, and pulls the bumper down so she can get a peek!
