8 Months Old

This morning my beautiful daughter awoke as an 8 month old. Apparently she felt like celebrating by giving herself a poop mustache and cutting her first tooth.

SLEEP: You are doing great! Still waking up for a bottle around 6 or 7am and then you go back to sleep until around 9. 

Daily Routine:Not much has changed...other than you are able to stay awake longer and now you have "meals". Bedtime is still around 830 or 9.

FOOD:You still love your solids! You have progressed to eating a bit more table foods. You are getting a bit more formula as well. I have been giving you a bottle at night before bed as well as if you wake at night just a small bottle that is a bit watered down, in hopes to ween you from it.

Stats:At birth:  Weight 8lbs 9oz length: 20 inches long

2 weeks: 8 lbs 10oz

2 months: 13lbs 1oz (90th%)22 1/2in long(50th%) head measured 15 1/4 inches (50th%)

3 months: 13bs 3oz

4 months: 15lbs 1.6oz (75%) 25 1/2in long (85%) Head 15 23/4 (20%)

5 months: Weight 15 lbs 3 oz

6 months: 15.6 lbs (25-50%) 26inches long (50-75%) Head 16 1/4 (10-20%) 

7 months 15.11 lbs  

8 months-We don't have an official weigh in and thankfully there has been no need to go to the doctors so per our guestimate of weighing ourselves then weighing holding her we are thinking around 16.5 lbs

Clothes Size:6-9 and still some 3-6 Size 3 diapers when wearing sposies. She has grown out of size 6 Carters for the most part and is a size 9. Her 6-9 Jammies are almost too small as well.

Hair Color:At birth: red  Currently: strawberry and its finally growing!

Eye color:At birth: blue/gray6 months: blue/gray/some green in there

Funniest moment: Poop mustache this morning for sure!

Milestone: Army crawling. Pulling up on the couch (5./16)and crib (5/19)to stand.

Your favorite toy: You love your crib aquarium. It has always been there but you really have discovered it over the past month. You love all your toys really and enjoy exploring all the different rooms in the house!
