I have been having a lot of rib & upper back pain. This stubborn little girl will not un-lodge herself from my ribs! No matter how many pelvic thrusts I do or bounce on my ball...so I am thinking if she is this stubborn she won't be here until someone rips her out screaming! haha
I have started drinking my red leaf tea to help tone up those uterine muscles and will continue to drink it after her birth. I also have started some perenial massage to help with the degree of tearing (sorry if that's a bit tmi). I will also be starting evening primrose here in a few weeks to hopefully help soften things up!! Some of you may be wondering why I am buying into everything haha I would rather be able to say I tried everything I could than I did nothing. ;O)
In other news I did head to the chiropractor today. I have a pretty good case of scoliosis and stopped going when I was diagnosed with cancer, I was especially worried about my neck area during adjustments. Well last night I had enough with the back pain! The past week or so I had been doing lots of exercises to help with the back pain & the heating pad was no longer helping out...I was just loosing way too much sleep, not to mention my carpal tunnel is killing me. I already feel better!!! Nick even went in and got adjusted, I don't think he will keep it up since there wasn't anything "wrong" with him, other than his back hurts haha.. Hopefully heading to the chiro will help align things & I will start to feel a bit better rather than worse in the upcoming weeks! I took some pics of the nursery and will post a reveal sometime soon!!
I am going to go put my jimmy jams on and drink up on that red leaf tea and bounce on my ball!

I went to a Chiropractor throughout my whole pregnancy and I really feel like it helped me! Also, towards the end..the last month or so, I wore tennisshoes every day (i was working and it was wintertime, so it worked out) But I really feel like that helped my back more than anything!
I have a bit of scoliosis in my lumbar, and getting the epi was so painful because of it! I SOOO hope that is not the case for you!
Getting so close now!!!!
xoxo
I think it is great you are trying everything!! I too am drinking the red tea and doing the perinium umm stuff. Im hoping for no tearing... Im overly optimistic what can I say!
I think a chiro visit is just what you need, I have been going and recently switched to someone who specializes in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic... OH MY the difference it has made!!
About all I've tried is sex and bouncing on my yoga ball... lol.
