It's About time...

It has been pretty lonely around the apartment since mom left Thursday morning. I am so thankful for such great friends who have helped cart me around and come to visit! I am so glad that Nick is coming home today!! I went to the dentist Thursday afternoon. Now, let me say, I have never been a huge fan of the dentist. I think it was because my mom was always the one cleaning my teeth, and lets just say she wasn't all that gentle :O) I am proud to say that it went swell! No cavities, very little plaque, and they said my mouth looks great! Of course I still am waiting on the o.k. from Dr. Bumpous to get those pesky wisdom teeth out!! Heather came over with some Chinese later that evening! YAY! I was so happy to see her! I had not seen her since before my surgery. She has been so busy moving, working and with the holidays...and me so busy with dr. appointments and recovery, we could never come up with a day we were both available. It was so great to finally get caught up and spend some time with her!

Friday was pretty eventful. Mallorey and I started our day off with some BM dress shopping. I cannot believe her wedding will be here before we know it! We checked around for some places for centerpiece ideas as well. Since her colors are pink and black it hasn't been all that easy. She doesn't want the same old candles/flowers floating in water. She has come up with a few ideas as well as possibly adding a totally fun 3rd color!! I cannot wait to see what she comes up with! Her shower is Jan. 24 in Chicago! I cannot wait to go!! Tripping around the city with someone who is from there! We are heading back up with the boys the end of February for the Bach parties! Woo Hoo!!! We went to see Bride Wars that afternoon! We decided it was definitely something we should see together since I just got married and she is well on her way! Plus it is a total chick flick and we would never have dragged the guys along! It's one of those unless you are dating a chick leave your date at home kind of movies ;O) We thought it was super cute! We headed back to her & Randy's place for some yummy pizza and the plan was to watch Mamma Mia (which I have already seen) but we ended up just watching the What I Like About You marathon, lame I know, but it is such a fun show! I was wiped out by the end of the evening. I am still not up for a full day of running around just yet.

Yesterday I slept in did some studying and some packing. I curled up on the couch with my tivo'd shows, a salad, an my comfy penguin pillow. The only thing that would have made it better was my hubby.

Today was pretty much a repeat of yesterday. Except the hubs will be home shortly! YAY!!!

Well I am off to do some more packing.

XoXo
