Boy oh boy will the rain ever end? It started early yesterday morning and is still coming on strong. They have reported over 4 inches isn the past 24 hours with 2 more inches possible. The flood walls have been put up due to expectations that the Ohio River will be close to, if not over, flood stage.
Thankfully no one is forecasting the massive flooding that hit Louisville in 1997 (pics below),
but with the all this rain the mighty Ohio could reach higher levels than it’s been in 10 to 15 years. There are quite a few "low lying" areas that flood pretty often & it just so happens that one is on my way home-Boo!!!
