WOWEE. Our 11 day vacation FLEW, I repeat FLEW by!
B and I flew to VA Beach to visit with some of our besties on Wednesday and Nick joined us the following morning. We had such a wonderful time visiting with Megan & Lee. We really have missed them since we all moved from Roanoke. I wish I could wiggle my cute little button nose & poof be at the beach by their sides ;o) We hope to all visit more often especially when their little baby boy arrives!
Saturday we all headed down to meet Nick's family in the Outer Banks. The weather was wonderful as was the water. There were a few rough days in the ocean and some sand that make a grown man cry when his feet touched it! Briggsley was not the biggest beach fan, suppose she takes after her momma! All in all we all just enjoyed our relaxing days on the shore and in the pool. The evenings were full of ping pong, Phase 10, adult beverages, & brownies. It was so nice to spend time with Nick's family, especially since we haven't seen much of them this year.
We are hoping we can head back to the beach soon and have some plans in the works! So for those of you who want to be jealous be sure to check out the pics below ;O)
